Interest in HR Outsourcing Continues to Rise

Ceridian, a global business services company, recently conducted an American Payroll Association (APA)-sponsored survey to gauge the opinions of 1500 respondents on Human Resources and Payroll Outsourcing. Over 2/3 of respondents stated that they are outsourcing the same or more than they were five years ago.

The primary reasons to outsource Human Resources are:

  • Minimizes Employment Risks (20.4%)
  • Improves Productivity (18.5%)
  • Save Company Money (14.8%)
  • Leverage Integrated Solutions (14.4%)
  • Access to Global Solutions (13.7%)
  • Improve Service and Employee Satisfaction (11.7%)

“It makes economic sense for companies to outsource key HR-related activities,” said Keith Strodtman, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Ceridian HRO & Multinational Solutions. “In many cases, outsourcing means companies don’t have to add IT or HR staff to support the technology and expertise required to support these key activities.” Read the complete report here.
