CPEhr, a Los Angeles human resources consulting firm, gave back to the West Los Angeles Community by planting trees in honor of their clients and employees as their gift for the holidays.
CPEhr worked with the local environmental non-profit, Tree People, and together with their employees and guests planted Magnolia, Chinese Pistache and Ginkgo trees in a West Los Angeles Neighborhood. CPEhr’s goal was to help revitalize California after the massive destruction from this year’s wildfires.
“This was a wonderful opportunity to remind ourselves that dedicated people working together can have a positive impact on the environment and community we all share.” says Faith Branvold, CPEhr’s president.
This event was not only educational, but also provided an opportunity for CPEhr employees and guests to come together as a team to help the environment. “Participating in the tree planting gave me an opportunity to spend
quality time with my family while contributing to a worthy cause,” says, CPEhr Human Resources Generalist, Rocio Espinoza–Rojas who joined with her daughter and partner in the tree planting event.
CPEhr has various non-profit clients, and actively participates in their endeavors. “We work with many wonderful non-profit clients that demonstrate every day how important it is to reach out in our communities,” said Faith Branvold. “This experience permitted us to work together as an active participant of our community, that was not only fun – but was something that you could feel great about being involved in. It was a great way to start off the New Year.”
