Most people are looking for career development at their jobs. There are many people who are not completely satisfied with the positions that they hold. This can happen if they’re pursuing something else on the side, like a hobby that they want to eventually turn into a profession.

Let’s assume that you started your small business in your apartment or your garage and you have now moved to a bigger location. In the beginning, your small business may only have consisted of you. But as time goes on, you probably had to hire an assistant, an IT person and a salesperson.

What do you tell these people when they ask you about career development? Well, an assistant can always become a manager in the future, depending on their organizational skills. A salesperson can become a sales exec or even manage their own sales team.
