The old-school style of management calls for micromanaging and being on top of as many decisions as possible. The overbearing approach does not bode well for your employees’ development. It will stunt their growth and will prevent their talents from shining.
Give them the autonomy they need to do their job. You should let your personnel know that you trust their judgment by encouraging them to make decisions on their own. Even if it’s hard for them at first, with time, they will get used to taking the initiative and will be more productive.

Rewards come in various forms ꟷ all of which are helpful. Whether you give them time off or you offer small monetary rewards, it will help them realize that you value their achievements, and will make them want to produce more for you.
